Alicante—Tabarca Island Ferry
At the time of your choice, you'll sail from the port of Alicante to the island of Tabarca. During the 1-hour ferry trip, you may enjoy the underwater view of the boat (depending on availability). You'll see the diverse fish that inhabit this area of the Mediterranean Sea.
Once you have docked in Tabarca, you can explore the island at your leisure. In the afternoon, you can take the ferry back to the port of Alicante on the same or a different day.
What to Do in Tabarca Island?
Tabarca is the largest island in the Valencian Community. You can relax here enjoying the Mediterranean breeze, as the location has around 60 inhabitants. We recommend a walk through the streets of the village at the western end of the island, where you'll find the church of San Pedro and San Pablo. You may also visit the Museum of Nueva Tabarca, which houses various archaeological pieces.
To satisfy your appetite, we suggest trying the rice dishes with lobster served in village restaurants. For walking enthusiasts, you can visit the eastern points of the island to see the Tabarca lighthouse.
