Once docked in Tabarca, you can explore the island at your leisure. In the afternoon, at the time of your choice, you can take the ferry back to the port of Alicante on the same or a different day.
What to Do on Tabarca Island?
Tabarca is the biggest island in the Valencian Community where you can relax and enjoy the Mediterranean breeze without busy crowds, as it has around 60 inhabitants. A recommended walk includes the streets of the village located at the western end of the island, where you'll find the church of San Pedro and San Pablo. Visiting the Museum of Nueva Tabarca, which houses archaeological pieces from the Mediterranean, is also recommended.
To satisfy your appetite, consider trying the local rice dishes with lobster served in village restaurants. Additionally, a walk to the easternmost points of the island to see the Tabarca lighthouse is suggested.
