At 1:50 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel to begin this tour of Alice Springs, the gateway to the Red Centre, Australia's most famous desert region.
The first stop will be at the Alice Springs Air School, known for being one of the first schools to offer distance learning via radio in the 1950s.
Next, we'll visit the Alice Springs Telegraph Station, which connected the town to other parts of Australia such as Darwin and Adelaide for over 60 years.
We will also explore the Royal Flying Doctor Service to learn about its role in providing medical care to remote areas and hear some intriguing stories.
The final stop will be the Reptile Centre, where we will meet various species unique to Australia, including crocodiles, pythons, and goannas.
Afterward, we'll take a panoramic tour of Alice Springs from Anzac Hill, offering extensive views over the area. You'll be returned to your hotel by 6 pm.
