Douro River Rabelo Boat Trip

At your chosen time, we'll meet you at the dock on Rua da Praia, in Pinhão. We will welcome you aboard the rabelo, a traditional Portuguese boat unique to the Douro region and dating back to the 18th century.

We'll set off eastbound on our relaxing boat trip through the waters bordering Pinhão. As we sail along the Douro, you'll see the numerous bridges and the vineyards and wineries that stretch along the valley. If we're lucky, we might spot a peregrine falcon or a majestic golden eagle.

When making your booking, you'll have the option of choosing a 1 or 2-hour rabelo boat trip. If you select the longer tour, you'll receive a glass of wine onboard and an audio guide.

Once our rabelo boat trip concludes, we'll say our goodbyes and disembark at the meeting point.

During the booking process, you'll choose your desired time for the rabelo boat trip on the Douro River. The available times are:

1-hour boat trip: 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm, and 4:30 pm. Between April and September, an additional trip is available at 5:30 pm.2-hour boat trip: 10:30 am or 2:30 pm.
