On this tour of the via ferrata of El Chorro, we will see Desfiladero de los Gaitanes Natural Park and experience a zipline.

El Chorro Via Ferrata Climbing Tour

We will meet at restaurant La Garganta in the village of El Chorro. From there, a short 10-minute walk will lead us to the starting point of the via ferrata.

We will equip ourselves with all necessary gear and review safety measures to be followed during the activity. Then, the adventure begins.

The via ferrata of El Chorro, located in the Natural Park of Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, offers a combination of adventure and beautiful landscapes. The route is of intermediate difficulty and includes a zipline, climbing, and a Tibetan bridge.

Throughout the climb, assisted by a guide, we will ascend to a height of 820 feet (250 meters), taking in views of the Tajo de la Encantada reservoir and nearby mountains. This includes crossing a suspension bridge and a 35-meter (114 feet) zipline, along with other surprises along the route.

We will conclude the activity by returning to the starting point.
