Rafting on the Paraná River

Feel the adrenaline in this rafting activity on the Paraná River, a thrilling adventure in the beautiful natural environment of the Chapada dos Veadeiros.

Description

We'll pick you up at 6:00 am at your hotel in Alto Paraíso de Goiás. After approximately three hours, we'll arrive at the banks of the Paraná River, where the instructor will explain the safety rules.

After the technical talk, we'll start rafting on the Paraná River for 10 kilometres over 6 hours. We will encounter the Lapearão rapid (class II) and the Funil do Paranã rapid (class IV), making four stops along the way to admire landscapes inhabited by the Kalungas tribes.

We will continue rafting next to the village of Vai das Almas, where we can spot Paraná river dolphins and other species such as green iguanas.

The trip will end at Vai das Almas, where we will enjoy a typical Kalunga lunch with rice, beans, cassava, vegetables, free-range chicken, and salad. After lunch, we will return to Alto Paraíso de Goiás, arriving at your hotel at around 5:30 pm.
