We'll meet at your selected time at the São Gonçalo Church to begin our guided tour of Amarante. During our tour, we'll discover the history of this Portuguese city.

Home to the Tâmega River and the iconic São Gonçalo Monastery, Amarante is rich in culture, history, and heritage.

Throughout the tour, we'll explore the São Gonçalo Church and navigate Amarante's streets and alleys. We'll learn about some of its main monuments and interesting stories and legends. We will conclude the tour by tasting some of the area's typical desserts along with a tea or coffee.
