On this tour of Amorgos, we'll circle the island to see its notable sights, including the Hozoviotissa Monastery, various bays, and Chora. An essential route!

Tour Options

When booking, you can choose between the following tour options.

Half-Day Tour (5 Hours)

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Vigla Hotel in Tholaria. The tour begins in Egiali, followed by a visit to the monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa. The monks will offer traditional raki and loukoumi.

The next stop will be the bay of Agia Anna for a swim at the beach featured in The Big Blue.

We will continue to Chora to explore the village, including the windmills, Loza Square, and the exterior of the castle. The morning concludes at a local taverna for a meal before returning.

Full-Day Tour (7.5 Hours)

After pickup from the Vigla Hotel in Tholaria, we will travel by minibus to Aegiali Bay. The first stop is the Church of Agios Giorgios Valsamitis, located at an ancient oracle site.

We will head south with a coffee break before visiting the village of Arkesini, home to the Church of Agia Triada, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The next destination is the Hozoviotissa Monastery, positioned 300 meters above sea level. The monks will offer traditional raki and loukoumi.

A visit to Chora follows, where you can stroll through the streets and admire the architecture. The tour concludes with a return to the starting point after 7.5 hours.
