At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Amritsar to start an evening and attend the Palki Sahib ceremony at the Golden Temple.

Once we arrive at the shrine, we'll share facts about this spiritual center of the Sikh religion, an important place of pilgrimage for its followers.

As the sun sets, you'll see the colors and lights that adorn the temple. The ceremony will commence, showcasing the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of the Sikhs.

Every evening, devotees carry this book from the main shrine to the Akal Takht Sahib on a golden palanquin covered with flowers. You'll also hear the typical chanting of the Gurbani song.

This ceremony is repeated every morning before sunrise, with the Guru Granth Sahib returned to the main shrine until sunset.

After 30 minutes, we'll take you back to your hotel in Amritsar to conclude this experience.
