At the designated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Amritsar to begin the evening and attend the Palki Sahib ceremony at the Golden Temple.

Upon arrival at the shrine, we will provide interesting facts about this spiritual center of the Sikh religion, recognized as an important pilgrimage site for followers who aim to visit at least once in their lifetime.

As night falls, you will witness the vibrant colors and illumination of the temple. The ceremony will feature the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of the Sikhs, which is carried from the main shrine to the Akal Takht Sahib on a golden palanquin adorned with flowers. The evening includes the traditional chanting of the Gurbani song.

This ceremony is also held every morning before sunrise, during which the Guru Granth Sahib is returned to the main shrine until sunset.
