Palki Sahib Ceremony at the Golden Temple

Experience the Palki Sahib ceremony at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. At the specified time, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin the evening's activities.

Upon arrival at the shrine, we will provide insights about this significant spiritual center of the Sikh religion, which is a pilgrimage site for devotees who must visit at least once in their lifetime.

As night falls, the temple will be illuminated with vibrant colors and lights. During the ceremony, we will view the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of the Sikhs.

Every evening, devotees transport this book from the main shrine to the Akal Takht Sahib, the inner sanctum, using a golden palanquin adorned with flowers. The ceremony features the traditional chanting of the Gurbani song.

This ceremony is also conducted every morning before sunrise, with the Guru Granth Sahib returned to the main shrine by sunset.

After approximately 30 minutes, we will escort you back to your hotel in Amritsar, concluding the experience.
