Amsterdam - Bruges Excursion
- 13 Stunden
On this trip, we make our way into Belgium to discover Bruges, "The Venice of the North".
Amsterdam - Bruges Excursion
The tour departs from Amsterdam city centre at 8:30 am, traveling to Belgium. After enjoying the landscapes, the tour arrives in Bruges, a World Heritage Site since 2000.
In Bruges, we will begin a guided tour at the Lake of Love, exploring the history of Belgium and Bruges. The tour includes the only preserved beguinage in Bruges and visits the main streets, squares, canals, and monuments. Notable sites include Burg Square, the town hall, the Church of Our Lady (home to Michelangelo's "Madonna of Bruges"), St. Salvator's Cathedral, and the Ten Wijngaerde Beguinage, concluding at Market Square with its bell tower, the heart of Bruges.
After the walking tour, you will have three hours free to eat, shop, and explore Bruges at your own pace. Recommended activities include trying authentic chocolate and Belgian beer, and taking a boat trip through the canals.
We begin the return journey to Amsterdam at 5 pm, arriving around 8:30 pm.
