Day Trip to Haar Castle

We'll meet up at 151 De Ruijterkade in Amsterdam at the agreed-upon time to begin our excursion to Haar Castle.

Following a road trip of approximately 45 minutes, we'll arrive at Haar Castle. This stronghold, located in the heart of the Utrecht province, features gardens, an impressive exterior, and lavish chambers.

The current structure is a reconstruction from 1892, with historical records indicating the presence of a castle at this site since 1391. We'll spend three and a half hours exploring while sharing captivating historical facts, learning why it is considered a Dutch architectural gem.

We'll see the former stables and enter the castle to examine some of the fortress's remarkable rooms, including the main hall, the dining room, and the ballroom, as well as the kitchen and bedrooms.

After uncovering the tales and legends concealed within the walls of Haar Castle, we'll return to Amsterdam to wrap up the tour. We'll arrive after a total of around 5 hours.
