Amazing colors, beautiful aromas, and more than 7 million tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths have made the Keukenhof Gardens some of the most famous in the world. Join us to visit this dazzling park from Amsterdam!
Description
The setting of the Keukenhof Gardens was used during the 15th century as the game reserve and herb garden for Jacqueline, Countess of Hainaut, which is reflected in its name: "the kitchen garden." Over the centuries, it has passed through numerous private hands until becoming an annual event that attracts millions of visitors globally.
Today, Keukenhof spans 32 hectares (80 acres) with 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) of paths and numerous floral expositions, gardens, and artwork. It is a notable attraction in Holland during spring.
