Description
The setting of the Keukenhof Gardens was used during the 15th century as a game reserve and herb garden for Jacqueline, Countess of Hainaut, translating to "the kitchen garden." The garden has changed hands over the centuries before becoming an annual event that attracts millions.
Keukenhof spans 32 hectares (80 acres) with 15 kilometres (9.3 miles) of paths showcasing floral expositions, gardens, and artwork, making it a must-see in Holland in the spring.
