At the indicated time, we'll meet at 151 De Ruijterkade near the Port of Amsterdam and head by bus to the Wadden Sea wetlands, a World Heritage Site.

Along the way, we'll cross picturesque North Holland countryside, known for its traditional landscapes of farms, windmills, and small towns reclaimed from the North Sea.

These lands, called polders, are part of typical Dutch postcards. We'll learn their history as we travel by bus to the port of Den Helder. Here, we'll catch a ferry for a 30-minute ride to Texel Island, the largest in the Frisian archipelago.

Upon arrival, we'll board a bus to tour the island's main attractions, passing through Duinen van Texel National Park and its iconic lighthouse in the northern part of the island.

We'll visit a charming town for a break at a restaurant, enjoying a traditional lunch featuring a typical Dutch dish.

After lunch, we'll return to Het Horntje port in the south for a return ferry to Den Helder. From there, we'll take a bus back to the meeting point in Amsterdam, arriving after 9 hours of activity.
