Wadden Sea Cruise and Seal Safari
Meet at Amsterdam River Cruise Dock for a bus ride to the coast of the Wadden Sea. This 90-minute trip showcases Holland's rural beauty, including farms, villas, and windmills.
After reaching the coast, board the boat to cruise the Wadden Sea, where you can see grey seals, porpoises, and other animals in the coastal wetlands and tidal system.
The Wadden Sea, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, is a vital stop for migratory birds and features calm waters with minimal waves. During the cruise, sail along the well-known levee between North Holland and Friesland, protecting the lowlands from flooding.
The boat trip returns to the same harbor. Afterwards, pass through the historic 17th-century village of Twisk to reach the town of Medemblik on the IJsselmeer coast. Enjoy free time to explore the narrow streets, visit the windmill, brewery, castle, shop, or dine.
Finally, begin the return journey by bus to Amsterdam.
