Via Ferrata Leitzaran

Get your adrenaline pumping on the Leitzaran via ferrata - scale mountains, slide down a zipline, and revel in stunning natural landscapes.

Description

At the indicated time we'll meet at the Leitzaran Visitor Centre and begin an exciting adventure in an unforgettable natural environment. Once we're all together, we'll listen to an introduction from our guide, who will provide us with safety instructions and fun facts about the Leitzaran Valley.

After donning our safety equipment, we will head to the starting point of the via ferrata. The first part of the course includes a training area to familiarise ourselves with the equipment before embarking on our adventure.

Next, you’ll glide down a zipline for 70 meters (230 feet) at a height of 16 meters (52 feet). Following this, we will venture into the valley along the 220-meter (721-foot) via ferrata, which includes five vertical walls to traverse using clamps, holds, ladders, and rocks.

We will make several stops along the way to appreciate the views of the Leitzaran valley, concluding the activity and returning to the starting point after 2 to 2.5 hours.

Important

The minimum height for participation is 1.40 meters (4 feet 7 inches), and the maximum weight limit is 120 kilograms (265 pounds).This activity is not recommended for individuals with vertigo or a fear of heights. While the via ferrata has a low technical difficulty level, reasonable physical condition is necessary for participation.
