Andorra Tour: History of Electricity

Discover the history and importance of the electricity industry in Andorra and visit the church of Sant Miquel d'Engolasters on this fascinating tour.

Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point of your choice. We'll then set off by bus to discover the history of electricity in Andorra.

The first stop will be at the MW Electricity Museum to learn about the beginnings of electricity production and its contribution to the country's development.

Next, we'll follow the Engolasters hydroelectric route and visit the Lake Engolasters Dam to understand how water is used as an energy source.

After enjoying the views from the lake, located at an altitude of 1620 meters, we'll head to the Romanesque Church of Sant Miquel d'Engolasters, which features the second-highest bell tower in the principality. From here, you will see the valley of Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany.

Finally, we'll take you back to the meeting points, arriving between 1:50 pm and 2 pm.
