On the day of your tour, meet your guide at the arranged time in the car park of the L'Imperatore Restaurant, located on the outskirts of Castel del Monte. You will take a dedicated transport service that will take you to the entrance of the imposing fortress.

During your private tour of the Castel del Monte, or Castle of the Mountain, you will learn about the history and origins of the citadel from your English-speaking guide. Built in the mid-13th century by Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II, the fortress has a unique geometrical shape and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

At the end of your guided tour, you will make a stop to admire the magnificent panoramic views over the Alta Murgia National Park before returning to your original meeting point.
