Join us to explore the waters in Terceira on a boat and sail around the Cabras islets to discover one of the most impressive natural reserves on the Azores!

Cabras Islets Boat Trip

We will meet at the Angra do Heroismo marina and board a boat that will take us to the Cabras Islets. We will sail the Atlantic waters towards these islands that originated from volcanic activity, which have been declared a Special Protection Area due to the diversity of birds and marine wildlife they harbor.

On board, we will admire the various species living underwater at the Cabras islets, including anchovies, lemon fish, and barracudas. These species thrive in the crystal clear waters of the Azores.

In addition to marine biodiversity, we will appreciate the volcanic scenery, both above and below the water. The tour will include interesting facts about how marine biodiversity has adapted to this unique environment. We will anchor in a tranquil area to allow you to take a dip in the waters of the Azores.

The tour of the Cabras islets will conclude as we return to the port of departure between 1 and 1.25 hours after the start of the activity.
