Whale Watching + Cabras Islets

Want to see whales and dolphins in the waters of Terceira? Hop aboard a boat and enjoy a pleasant cruise in the Atlantic to admire these incredible creatures. You'll also visit the beautiful Cabras islets.

Description

At 8:30 am, we'll meet at the marina of Angra do Heroísmo, where the boat will take us to explore the south coast of Terceira.

We'll sail the Atlantic in search of the whales and dolphins in these waters. As we admire the whales, we'll share many interesting facts about them, including that some species can live up to 200 years and can mimic the human voice.

During the cruise, we'll also spot several families of dolphins. Make sure to have your cameras ready!

After three hours of sailing, we'll return to land and enjoy a traditional Portuguese lunch and a drink at a restaurant.

At 2 pm, we'll board the boat again to visit the Cabras islets, declared a Special Protection Area. We'll sail around these volcanic islands and spot the various birds that nest here.

We'll conclude the tour back at the starting point at 3:30 pm.
