Whale Watching + Cabras Islets

Want to see whales and dolphins in the waters of Terceira? Hop aboard a boat and enjoy a pleasant cruise in the Atlantic to admire these incredible creatures. You'll also visit the beautiful Cabras islets.

Description

At 8:30 am, we'll meet at the marina of Angra do Heroísmo, where the boat for exploring the south coast of Terceira will be waiting.

We'll sail the Atlantic in search of whales and dolphins inhabiting these waters. You'll learn many interesting facts about them - some species can live up to 200 years and can mimic the human voice.

During the cruise, we will also spot several families of dolphins. Be prepared with your cameras.

After three hours of sailing, we will return to land and visit a restaurant for a delicious lunch consisting of a traditional Portuguese dish and a drink.

At 2 pm, we will board the boat again to visit the Cabras islets, declared a Special Protection Area. We will sail around these volcanic islands and observe the many birds that nest here.

Finally, we will conclude the tour back at the starting point at 3:30 pm.
