Tour Highlights

At the designated time, we'll gather at the Santa Luzia Station in Angra dos Reis, kicking off our hiking adventure along a segment of the Mata Atlântica train's historic tracks. We will discuss the importance of this transportation mode in the 1990s.

Over the course of 45 minutes, we'll trace the footsteps of this train to the village of Vale da Banqueta. Along the way, we'll share anecdotes about this once-popular route.

Along the Mata Atlântica Greenway, we'll pass through various tunnels, providing glimpses of the lush vegetation and cascading water from the tunnel walls.

The hiking trail leads us to a bridge adorned with several arches and a small waterfall with pools, perfect for a refreshing dip.

After exploring the attractions within the Mata Atlântica Greenway, we'll return you to the meeting point, concluding the 5-hour hiking experience.
