Pico do Papagaio Sunrise Hike

We'll meet at Abraão Beach to start our hiking route through the forest to Pico do Papagaio. The hike will last between 5.7 hours, depending on the group's speed, allowing us to appreciate the flora and fauna of the Atlantic Rainforest.

The first 3 hours will take us to the summit of Pico do Papagaio, the second-highest point on the island, standing at 980 metres (3,215 ft.) above sea level. We will have opportunities to rest and hydrate along the way, making our gradual ascent more enjoyable.

Upon reaching the summit, we will experience the sun's morning rays lighting up the landscape. You'll have an hour and a half of free time to appreciate the views and take photos, including sights of the famous Pedra da Gávea in Rio de Janeiro.

After taking in the experience, we will begin our descent back to the meeting point, concluding the tour after approximately 7 hours.
