Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Side and head to Alanya, a popular coastal city on the Anatolian peninsula. Before arriving, we'll make a brief stop at a banana plantation for an overview of this local crop.

First, we'll visit Alanya Castle, spending about 45 minutes at this medieval fortress built in the 13th century. Its location offers a panoramic view of the beaches and the old town of Alanya.

Next, we'll explore Damlata? Cave, known for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. The cave is also reputed to have properties that may assist with asthma symptoms.

After approximately 45 minutes in the cave, we'll proceed to Cleopatra Beach. Following a visit to the beach, we will embark on a 1-hour boat trip from the port of Alanya, passing by monuments such as the Red Tower and the ruins of the Seljuk Castle.

Post-boat trip, we'll head to the Dim River for a traditional Turkish lunch at a floating restaurant, with options including grilled chicken or fish and vegetarian choices. After lunch, enjoy 1.5 hours of free time to explore Alanya on your own, with recommendations to visit the Red Tower or shop in the bazaar.
