Caminito del Rey Day Trip

On this excursion to the Caminito del Rey from Antequera, we will walk along a well-known route in Malaga.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at the Puerta de Estepa and depart Antequera towards the Caminito del Rey. After a 45-minute drive through the Malaga countryside and Chorro reservoirs, we will arrive at the entrance of the Caminito del Rey. A helmet will be provided before we start the tour along the path built in the walls of the Gorge of the Gaitanes.

Throughout the 2-hour route, we will explore the history, geology, and vegetation of the area while enjoying views of the canyon, which includes wooden walkways and suspension bridges.

After the hike, participants can eat in the area. A shuttle bus will return us to the starting point of the route, and then we'll board another vehicle back to the Puerta de Estepa in Antequera, concluding this 6-hour day trip.

Temporary Closures

If the Caminito del Rey closes unexpectedly during the activity or with less than 24 hours notice, no refunds will be issued. However, an alternative tour date may be offered depending on availability.
