Altamira Viewpoint Hike

On this activity, we'll hike to the Altamira viewpoint and enjoy the views from the Mano de Oro, experiencing the landscape of Antigua Guatemala.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the center of Antigua Guatemala. We will visit the Altamira viewpoint, located in the hills of the city.

We'll travel along dirt paths surrounded by vegetation to reach the high point. We'll walk up to the viewpoint known as the Mano de Oro (Golden Hand), a prominent location in the region. This viewpoint is shaped like a hand, allowing you to enjoy views of the area. There will be free time for you to climb onto the Mano de Oro and take scenic pictures.

The tour will conclude with a snack at the Altamira viewpoint restaurant, after which we will walk back to the center of Antigua Guatemala.

Return Transport

The tour will be undertaken on foot, covering approximately 6 kilometers (3.72 miles). If you prefer, you can choose the option that includes return transport by minibus.
