Enchiladas, tamales.... Delight in the exotic flavors of Guatemalan cuisine on this food tour of Antigua Guatemala.

Food Tour Details

At the specified time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Antigua Guatemala to begin our exploration of this colonial city for its authentic flavors.

The first stop will be in San Felipe, where you will enjoy a atol, chuchito, and a typical sweet. The atol de elote is a beverage made from ground corn, milk, cinnamon, and sugar. The chuchitos are small tamales filled with meat and tomato sauce. The experience will conclude with a typical sweet.

The second stop is at La Merced church for Guatemalan enchiladas, which are different from the Mexican version; they are fried tortillas topped with beetroot, ground meat, vegetables, hard-boiled egg, and parsley, accompanied by a refreshing drink.

The tour will end in Santa Ana, where you can choose between a shuco or a búfalo. The shuco is a hot dog variant with sausage, guacamole, cabbage, mayonnaise, and mustard. Meanwhile, "El Búfalo" is a large bread filled with beans, meat, cabbage, and a special dressing.

After 3 hours of sightseeing, we will return you to your hotel in Antigua Guatemala.
