At the scheduled time, our journey will commence with pick-up from your hotel in Antigua Guatemala. We will embark on a delightful exploration of this historic city, uncovering its most genuine culinary treasures.



Our first stop takes us to San Felipe, where you will savor a delicious atol, a chuchito, and a traditional sweet. Starting with the warm and soothing atol de elote, crafted from ground corn, milk, sugar, and cinnamon, sets the tone for a wonderful tasting experience. Next, indulge in chuchitos, small tamales made of corn dough filled with meat and topped with a savory tomato sauce. To conclude this stop, enjoy a typical sweet treat from the region to delight your senses.



Continuing our adventure, we will arrive at La Merced church, where you’ll have the opportunity to relish the exquisite Guatemalan enchiladas. These differ from their Mexican counterparts as they consist of fried tortillas generously layered with a mixture of beetroot, minced meat, and assorted vegetables, garnished with hard-boiled egg and parsley. A refreshing drink will accompany this flavorful dish, perfect for rejuvenating before the next segment of our journey.



Our exploration culminates in Santa Ana, offering a choice between a shuco or a búfalo, both essential culinary experiences. The shuco is a unique Guatemalan take on the hot dog featuring sausage, guacamole, cabbage, mayonnaise, and mustard. Alternatively, the renowned Búfalo is a sizable bread roll crafted by a local artisan, generously filled with beans, meat, cabbage, and a house-special dressing that enhances its flavor profile.



After three hours of vibrant exploration and tasting, we will return you to your hotel in Antigua Guatemala.
