Food Tour Details

At the indicated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Antigua Guatemala to explore this colonial city for its authentic flavors. The first stop will be in San Felipe, where you will enjoy atol, a chuchito, and a typical sweet. The atol de elote is a hot drink made of ground corn, milk, cinnamon, and sugar. The chuchitos are small corn dough tamales filled with meat and covered with tomato sauce. We will then have a typical sweet of the region.

The second stop will be at La Merced church, where we will taste Guatemalan enchiladas, different from the Mexican version, consisting of fried tortillas with beetroot, ground meat, vegetables, garnished with hard-boiled egg and parsley, accompanied by a refreshing drink.

We will finish in Santa Ana, where you can choose between a shuco or a búfalo. The shuco is a Guatemalan style hot dog, while the El Búfalo is a large loaf of bread packed with beans, meat, cabbage, and a special dressing.

After 3 hours of sightseeing, we will return you to your hotel in Antigua Guatemala.
