At the scheduled time, we'll convene at Calle Oriente and embark on a walking journey through the historic streets of this city, which served as Guatemala's capital for two centuries.

Accompanied by an experienced guide, we'll navigate this ancient colonial city while uncovering the numerous stories encapsulating Antigua Guatemala. Our adventure begins at the La Merced church, followed by a visit to the Arch of Santa Catalina, which, along with the convent cloister and the church's nave, forms one of the town's iconic attractions.

Next, we will proceed to the Parque Central, a pivotal square and a favored gathering point. Surrounding the park, you'll find significant structures such as the City Hall, the Church of San José (previously known as the Cathedral of Guatemala), the Archbishop's Palace, and the Portal del Comercio, historically recognized as a key shopping area within Antigua Guatemala. Our tour will culminate at the Tanque de la Unión, a historical venue that functioned as a public laundry during colonial times.

Upon concluding our walking tour of Antigua Guatemala, we will return to the meeting point after approximately three hours.
