At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Calle Oriente and begin exploring by foot the historic streets of this city that was the capital of Guatemala for two hundred years.

We'll tour this ancient colonial city accompanied by a guide who will tell you all the stories that took place in Antigua Guatemala. We'll start at the church of La Merced. From there we'll pass by the Arch of Santa Catalina, which, together with the convent cloister and the nave of the church, forms one of the city's landmarks.

Our next stop will be at the Parque Central, a main square and popular meeting place. Lining its sides are important buildings such as the City Hall, the Church of San José (formerly known as the Cathedral of Guatemala), the Archbishop's Palace, and the Portal del Comercio, historically significant for shopping in Antigua Guatemala. The final stop on our tour will be at the Tanque de la Unión, which served as a public laundry in colonial times.

At the end of our walking tour of Antigua Guatemala, we'll return to the meeting point, concluding the experience three hours later.
