Your journey begins at the renowned Chichicastenango Market, where you will have the opportunity to engage with the local indigenous culture. This market showcases a variety of products, including fresh locally grown produce, homemade delicacies, and intricately crafted handmade goods.

Following the market, you will visit the Church of Santo Tomás, the heart of the town. This 16th-century church stands on a pre-Columbian temple platform and the original Mayan steps are still used by indigenous priests. After your exploration of Chichicastenango, you will have time to enjoy lunch (not included).

With your energy replenished, we will continue to Panajachel, the largest town on the shores of Lake Atitlan, regarded as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. The breathtaking views of the volcanoes surrounding the lake are remarkable.
