At the scheduled time, we will meet on Calle Oriente in Antigua Guatemala and depart towards the Guatemalan highlands to visit Chichicastenango, one of the country's most picturesque indigenous villages.

We will explore the renowned Chichicastenango Market to understand the indigenous culture. The market features a variety of products, including fresh locally grown produce, homemade delicacies, and intricately handmade crafts.

Next, we will visit the Church of Santo Tomás, built atop a pre-Columbian temple platform. The original Mayan steps are still used by indigenous priests. After touring Chichicastenango, there will be time for lunch (not included).

With renewed energy, we will proceed to Panajachel, the largest town on the shores of Lake Atitlan, known for its stunning views of surrounding volcanoes.

At the end of this day of sightseeing, we will return to our starting point in Antigua Guatemala.
