At the scheduled time, we'll meet on Calle Oriente in Antigua Guatemala and set off towards the Guatemalan highlands to visit Chichicastenango.

We'll visit the Chichicastenango Market, where you can experience the indigenous culture of the region. The market offers products such as fresh locally grown produce, homemade delicacies, and handmade crafts.

Next, we'll visit the Church of Santo Tomás, a 16th-century church built atop a pre-Columbian temple platform, with original Mayan steps still in use by indigenous priests. After exploring Chichicastenango, you'll have time to eat lunch (not included).

We will then proceed to Panajachel, the largest town on the shores of Lake Atitlan. The views of the volcanoes surrounding the lake are notable.

At the end of the day, we'll return to our starting point in Antigua Guatemala.
