Day Trip to El Paredón Beach + Surf Lesson

Spend an unforgettable day and learn how to surf with this day trip to El Paredón Beach, the town with the most surf spirit in Guatemala!

Tour Details

After picking you up from your hotel in Antigua, we will travel to the Pacific Coast. After approximately 2 hours, we will arrive at the coastal town of El Paredón, in Buena Vista. We will then head to the hotel in front of the beach, providing access to its facilities for the entire day.

Once settled, we will grab our surfboards and meet our instructor for a surf lesson, which includes a brief theory session on the distinctive waves of El Paredón. You will learn how to catch waves, stand on your boards, maintain balance, and handle falls. Following the lesson, we will get into the water to practice.

After the surf lesson, we will return to the hotel restaurant for a delicious breakfast. The remainder of the day allows you to enjoy the hotel facilities and continue practicing surfing as desired. We will then start our journey back, dropping you off at your hotel in Antigua Guatemala 12 hours after the day trip begins.
