Description

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Antigua Guatemala and head to Panajachel, where indigenous traditions are deeply rooted in the town.

Upon arrival in Panajachel, we will board a boat for a cruise across Lake Atitlán, admired for its beauty. Enjoy views of the Tolimán, Atitlán, and San Pedro volcanoes surrounding the lake.

The boat trip will take us to San Juan La Laguna, where you can observe the traditional way of life of the Tz’utujil people, one of the 21 Maya ethnic groups in Guatemala. Learn about typical products and crafts made in the region, such as colorful tunics embroidered with animal and flower designs.

After exploring San Juan La Laguna, we will return to Panajachel by boat. You will have free time to eat or explore the town at your leisure.

After an invigorating 10 hours, the tour will conclude back at the meeting point in Antigua Guatemala.
