At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Antigua Guatemala, and head to Panajachel, where indigenous traditions remain deeply rooted in every corner of this dynamic Guatemalan town.

Upon arrival in Panajachel, we'll board a boat prepared for a cruise across Lake Atitlán. This lake is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. Admire the spectacular views of the Tolimán, Atitlán, and San Pedro volcanoes towering over the sparkling water.

The boat trip will take us to San Juan La Laguna, a picturesque town where we'll observe the Tz?utujil people's traditional way of life. The Tz'utujil people are one of 21 different Maya ethnic groups that still inhabit Guatemala. Learn about the typical products and crafts made in the region, such as vividly colored tunics embroidered with animals and flowers.

After exploring the streets of San Juan La Laguna, we'll return to Panajachel by boat. Here, you'll have free time to eat or explore the small-town streets at your own pace.

After an invigorating 10 hours together, the tour will conclude back at the meeting point in Antigua Guatemala.
