Pacaya Volcano & Kawilal Hot Springs Tour

Join us for a memorable experience as we climb Pacaya, one of Guatemala's most active volcanoes, allowing you to get close to the crater. Following the hike, relax at the Kawilal Hot Springs.

Tour Details

We will pick you up at your hotel at the designated time and travel by bus to Pacaya National Park, approximately an hour and a half away.

Upon arrival in the town of San Vicente de Pacaya, our walking route begins, leading us to the base of the Pacaya Volcano. Here, we will start our ascent of the volcano.

We will climb the volcano's slope until we reach a point just 50 meters (165 feet) from Pacaya's lava-filled crater. You will have free time to have lunch in this striking setting.

Afterward, we will descend the volcano and head to the Kawilal hot springs. Once there, enjoy a thermal water circuit featuring 12 thermal pools, 25 steam baths, and three hydrotherapy baths.

The tour lasts between 10 and 12 hours, concluding with our return to the meeting point.
