Sunset Trip to the Cuevas de Ajuy

How well do you know the western coast of Fuerteventura? On this trip to the Cuevas de Ajuy, we'll enjoy a magical sunset over the coastline's most famous caves. It also includes a delicious tapas dinner with views of the sea!

Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the east of Fuerteventura before heading to the western coast of the island. After a 45-minute drive, we'll arrive at Arco del Jurado. From this natural monument, we'll start an easy 4-kilometre (2.5-mile) hike through the Canary Islands' oldest geological space. The underwater lava formations here were created over 150 million years ago.

We'll take a break halfway through to have an energy bar, some fruit, and water before reaching the Natural Monument of the Cuevas de Ajuy, known for its black volcanic sand beaches, sea caves, and natural arches.

As we admire the Cuevas de Ajuy at dusk, enjoy the sunset that illuminates the sea caves in a unique way. Afterward, we will head to a local restaurant for a dinner with views of the sea, including a tapas menu and a drink.

Following dinner, we'll return to your hotel after a total of 5-6 hours.

If you prefer, during the booking process, you can select the option without dinner. You will follow the full itinerary but have that time free to explore the surroundings at your leisure before returning to the hotel.
