Carambeí + Castrolanda Tour
At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Curitiba and drive to Castrolanda, approximately three hours away.
We'll explore this village of Dutch origin, founded by Dutch immigrants in 1951, evident in the architecture of their houses and in the historical museum of Castrolanda.
We'll learn about the causes, phases, and motivations of immigration from the Netherlands to Brazil, which led to significant economic development through agricultural companies that established these colonies. We'll also visit a life-size replica of the Woldzigt mill from Roderwolde, located in northern Holland.
Afterwards, we'll take a break at a local restaurant for a typical Dutch lunch.
With renewed energy, we'll proceed to Carambeí, another village linked to Dutch immigration. Here, we'll visit the Historical Park, an open-air space that recreates a Dutch village from the early 20th century.
We'll discover interesting facts about Dutch culture and tradition as we stroll through this village, observing its church, houses, and mills. You'll feel like you've traveled to the Netherlands without leaving Brazil!
We'll conclude the excursion at 7 pm, returning to your hotel.
