Do you want to learn about the legacy of Dutch culture in Brazil? Join us on this tour to Carambeí and Castrolanda, where we'll discover the history of the immigrants from the Netherlands who arrived in the country between the 19th and 20th centuries.

Carambeí + Castrolanda Tour

At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Curitiba and drive to Castrolanda, approximately three hours away.

We'll explore this village of Dutch origin, founded by Dutch immigrants in 1951. The architecture of the houses and a visit to the historical museum of Castrolanda will showcase this heritage.

We'll learn about the causes and motivations of immigration from the Netherlands to Brazil, resulting in significant economic development through agricultural companies that established these colonies. A visit will also be made to a life-size replica of the Woldzigt mill in Roderwolde, located in the north of Holland.

Afterward, we will break for a typical Dutch lunch at a local restaurant.

With renewed energy, we will continue to Carambeí, linked to Dutch immigration. Here, we will visit the Historical Park, which recreates a Dutch village from the early 20th century.

We'll learn about Dutch culture and tradition as we stroll through this village, viewing its church, houses, and mills. The excursion will conclude at 7 pm, after returning to your hotel.
