With this ticket to the archaeological site of Olympia, you'll explore the origin of the Olympic Games in ancient Greece.

Why Visit Olympia?

Located at the base of the Hill of Kronos and near the Alfeios and Kladeos rivers, the site is of great historical importance. It was the location of a significant sanctuary dedicated to Zeus and the venue for the Olympic Games, which began in 776 BC. You'll visit key areas such as the Gymnasium and the Palaestra for athlete training, and enter the Olympic Stadium, which measured 212 meters long and 28.5 meters wide with a capacity of 50,000 spectators.

During the visit, see the Temple of Zeus, home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the Temple of Hera, which features the altar of the Olympic flame. The ticket includes admission to the Archaeological Museum of Olympia and the Museum of the History of the Ancient Olympic Games.
