Arequipa Pisco Tasting Tour

On this pisco tour of Arequipa, you'll discover the close relationship between the Ciudad Blanca and the most famous drink in Peru.

Highlights

At the scheduled time, we will meet on Zela Street and begin our tour of the Ciudad Blanca. The tour will start on foot, entering the San Lazaro neighbourhood, situated on the ruins of a prehispanic settlement. We will explore its streets, small squares, admire the mansions, the church of San Lazaro , and the ashlar stone bridge.

Next, we will visit the Precolombian Amano Textile Museum to observe the ancestral techniques used in crafting various artisan items, including different fibres, machinery and materials.

The tour continues in the Solar neighbourhood for a pisco tasting, where we will enjoy a pisco-based cocktail, and then proceed to Tambo Matadero, a 17th-century monument.

We will also visit a coffee and chocolate workshop to sample a surprise pisco-based cocktail. Following this, we will head to Tambo de la Cabezona and then to Plaza de Armas, a significant historical site.

After 4 hours, we will conclude the tour by drinking pisco in one of the bars at Plaza de Armas. Until next time!
