Colca Canyon to Puno Day Trip

Between 2:45 and 3:30 am, pickup from your hotel in Arequipa will occur, followed by a three-hour bus ride to Chivay, located at over 3000 meters (9800 feet) above sea level. A breakfast of bread with butter and jam, along with juice and coffee or tea, will be provided.

The first stop will be at the Cruz del Condor lookout point for views of the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons globally, where you may also spot condors. The route continues to other villages and viewpoints such as Wayrapunko and Antahuillque, followed by a visit to the Chacapi Hot Springs for an hour of relaxation in natural pools around 11:30 am.

After the springs, free time will be given in Chivay for personal dining before heading to Puno. The journey to Puno lasts about six hours with a stop at the Patapampa viewpoint to view the Ampato and Sabancaya volcanoes, and a visit to the Salinas Reserve and Lagunillas to observe local wildlife.

The tour concludes at the Terminal by approximately 7:30 pm.
