Between 2:45 and 3:30 am, pickup will be at your hotel in Arequipa. After a three-hour bus ride to Chivay at over 3000 metres (9800 feet), enjoy breakfast with bread, butter, jam, juice, and coffee or tea.

First, stop at the Cruz del Condor lookout point to admire the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world. You may also see condors here.

Continue to other villages and viewpoints, including Wayrapunko and Antahuillque. At approximately 11:30 am, visit Chacapi Hot Springs for an hour of relaxation in natural pools.

Return to Chivay for free time to eat, then proceed to Puno. The journey will take about six hours, with a stop at the Patapampa viewpoint to view the Ampato and Sabancaya volcanoes, as well as stops at the Salinas Reserve and Lagunillas to spot camelids and wild birds.

The tour concludes at approximately 7:30 pm.

Pickup

Pickup is included from hotels within a kilometer of the Plaza de Armas in Arequipa. If your hotel is outside this radius, proceed to the meeting point at the Plaza de Armas by 2:40 am.
