Day 1: Arequipa – Cruz del Cóndor – Oasis de Sangalle

At 3 am on the first day, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa and proceed to Chivay for breakfast before heading to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint. After enjoying the views of Colca Canyon, we will travel to Pampa San Miguel, where our trekking route begins. The hike includes panoramic views, waterfalls, and hanging bridges. We will have lunch at a family home in San Juan de Chuccho before reaching the Sangalle Oasis for a swim and an evening by the bonfire, where we will spend the night.

Day 2: Cabanaconde – Chivay – Arequipa

We will start the second day at 5 am, heading to Cabanaconde for breakfast. Next, we will proceed to Chivay, passing the natural viewpoint of Antahuilque and the village of Maca. Around 11:30 am, we will arrive at Yanque to spend time in its hot springs. After lunch in Chivay, we will visit the viewpoint of the Andes for panoramic views of Hualca Hualca, Sabanaya, and Ampato. A final stop at Pampas Cañahuas to see vicuñas will precede our return to Arequipa, arriving around 5:30 pm.

3-day trek in Colca Canyon

You can choose to book a 3-day trek to explore more of the Colca Valley. This includes visits to Cosñirhua and Malata, the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, and the option to participate in a fishing tour on the Colca River.
