Hike Details

At the designated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa. After approximately 1.5 hours of travel in an off-road vehicle, we will arrive at the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve to commence our hike from an altitude of 3400 metres (7874 feet).

The hike lasts approximately 1.5 hours until we reach 3800 metres (12467 feet). The narrow and steep path will go through Andean shrubs, canyons, and queñual forests. At the highest point, you'll be able to enjoy views of Arequipa and Pichu Pichu Mountain.

You will have 30 minutes to 1 hour of free time for photos, rest, and food—remember to bring your own food!

After a 1.5-hour descent, we will return to the vehicle for the trip back to Arequipa, concluding our tour in the city centre after a total of 6 hours.

Hike Schedules

You can choose to do the hike in the morning or the afternoon. The afternoon option allows you to enjoy the sunset over the Arequipa Valley.
