Discover some of the most beautiful towns around Arequipa when you take this fantastic tour of the Loncco Route. The locations of Yumina, Sabandía, Mollebaya, Quequeña, and Yarabamba await you.

Loncco Route Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Arequipa at 6:30 am and start the Loncco Route tour. You'll see natural landscapes and lesser-known places in Peru. The first stop will be the town of Quequeña, to visit the Martyrs' Museum and the petroglyphs of Guayalopo and Curlaca, which are over 1500 years old.

During the tour, you will learn about the Loncco, a traditional character from Arequipa. Next, we'll visit the Soncomarca Hill viewpoint for views of the Arequipa terraces and visit the church of Quequeña. Continuing along the Loncco Route, we will reach Sogay, known for its palm tree-filled square and ashlar houses overlooking the Yarabamba River.

Then, we'll go to the Uzuña lagoon in Polobaya, where you can engage in activities such as boat trips, kayaking, or sport fishing. Afterward, you'll have free time for lunch.

We will proceed to Mollebaya, visiting its historical centre and communal batán, followed by a visit to Characato to see its square and church with water springs. Our final stop will be Sabandía to see the church of the Virgen del Rosario and the historic mill.

The tour will conclude in Arequipa near the Plaza de Armas at 5 pm.
