Pillones Waterfall Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa between 6 and 6:30 am and set off on an excursion to the Pillones waterfalls, located at 4600 metres above sea level. On the way, we'll stop in the villages of Pampa de Arrieros and Patahuasi for you to have breakfast on your own.

At 10:30 am we will arrive at the start point for a downhill hike for about an hour to reach the waterfalls. Before arriving, we’ll encounter rocks shaped by erosion. Care is needed as the route is difficult.

Once at the waterfalls, you'll have the opportunity to take photographs and appreciate the local flora and fauna. You can also pose with the stone shapes representing prehistoric animals and other forms.

After the waterfalls, we will enter the Imata stone forest to explore this natural environment. We will then stop in the village of Imata for lunch on your own before starting the return journey. We will arrive back at your hotel in Arequipa around 5 pm.

Pick up

Pick up is included for hotels within a 1 kilometre radius of the Plaza de Armas in Arequipa. If your hotel is outside this area, proceed to the meeting point at the Plaza de Armas at the specified time.
