Querulpa & Chancaray Excursion
We'll pick you up at 7 am at your hotel in Arequipa to begin our excursion to Querulpa and Chancaray. After a two-and-a-half-hour drive through the Majes Valley, we'll arrive at the Querulpa Jurassic Park. Here, you'll experience a guided tour to discover real dinosaur footprints and ancient fossils found in excavations of the area.
Next, we'll visit the Chancharay spring, known for its miraculous waters, which locals believe have healing powers, particularly regarding fertility. You can bathe in its waters and discover these properties for yourself.
To complete this experience, time will be allotted for a typical Peruvian meal featuring shrimp, a local specialty, at a restaurant by the river.
After lunch, we'll return to Arequipa, arriving at 6 pm.
