Join us on an adventure from Arequipa on our day trip to the Salinas Lagoon. We'll also go on a bike tour of Pichu Pichu after visiting this beautiful salt lagoon. Let's go!

Salinas Lagoon Day Trip + Pichu Pichu Bike Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa at 6 am and head to the Salinas Lagoon, located more than 4,300 metres (14,100 feet) above sea level, between the Misti, Ubinas, and Pichu Pichu volcanoes.

At the halfway point, we will stop for breakfast. Afterward, we will continue to the salt desert and the Salinas Lagoon, where we will spot endemic birds such as flamingos.

After birdwatching, we will visit the famous water mirrors and provide 1 hour of free time to explore the thermal pools. We will reconvene to meet local wildlife including llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas.

At around 12 noon, we will begin the second part of our trip. We will spend 1 hour cycling downhill through Pichu Pichu, taking in the area's volcanic scenery.

After the bike ride, we will head to a local restaurant for lunch. Following lunch, we will return to Arequipa and drop you off at your hotel by 4:30 pm.
