Discover two unusual places in the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca on our day trip to the Salinas and Yanorco Lagoons. You'll also have the opportunity to relax in the Lojen Hot Springs.

Salinas & Yanaorco Lagoons Day Trip + Lojen Hot Springs

At 6 am, we will meet at your hotel or on San Agustín Street and begin our journey. A stop will be made in the town of Mariano Melgar for breakfast on your own.

We'll arrive at the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, home to the Misti, Pichu Pichu, and Chachani volcanoes. The visit includes the Salinas Lagoon with views of the wetlands and salt beaches.

Wildlife such as llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and flamingos will be visible, along with migratory bird species. We will also visit the Moche Salt Flat for photography.

The next stop is the Lojen Hot Springs, where you can relax and enjoy the medicinal waters between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius.

Subsequently, we will visit the San José de Uzuña Dam, where the Yanaorco Lagoon is located. You will have free time to have lunch, explore, and kayak.

After a memorable day, we will return to Arequipa, dropping you off at your hotel in the city center or Plaza de Armas between 4:30 and 5 pm.
