On this excursion, we'll explore the sillar stone quarries of Arequipa, see impressive landscapes, and visit the town of Yura, famous for its thermal baths.

After being picked up from your hotel in Arequipa at 8 am, we'll set off on the Sillar Route, one of the most historic places in Peru. We'll first travel by minibus to the Añaswayq'u Quarries, where sillar stone is excavated.

Upon reaching the quarry, we'll learn about sillar and its historical significance in the area. In addition to admiring the landscapes and historic carvings, we'll observe local masons utilizing traditional methods to work with the stone.

Next, we'll visit the Culebrillas ravine, where we'll see the effects of erosion on the rocky landscape over time.

After exploring the Sillar Route, we'll proceed to Yura, where we'll visit its colonial-style church. We will stop at a viewpoint to appreciate the Andean landscapes before heading to the thermal baths of Yura, where you will have one hour of free time to enjoy the waters and refresh yourself.

At the conclusion of the tour, we'll return to your hotel in Arequipa, with drop-off scheduled for 2 pm.
