Exploration of Ithaca

Your adventure begins at 8 am with a pick-up from your accommodation in Argostoli. We will travel northeast towards the port of Sami, where we’ll embark on a boat that will transport us to the enchanting island of Ithaca. Let's set off to uncover the landscapes that inspired Homer's Odyssey!

As we sail, you'll hear captivating tales and myths connected to Ithaca, the famed home of the mythical hero Odysseus, also referred to as Ulysses. Our first stop is Vathi, the island’s capital, nestled in a picturesque bay. This quaint fishing village showcases the traditional architectural style emblematic of the Ionian archipelago.

Continuing our journey, we’ll make our way to Kioni. Along the route, we’ll pause at a secluded beach to indulge in a refreshing swim in the sparkling waters that Greece is renowned for. Once we arrive at the island, you’ll have the opportunity to explore one of its most stunning harbors and stroll through its charming flower-adorned streets.

Our final stop will be Stravos, where you can wander its lanes at your leisure and enjoy free time to savor a drink at a local café within this small village of Ithaca. After this delightful exploration, we will return to the port of Piso Aetos for our journey back to Sami.

The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in Argostoli around 4 pm.
