Scuba Diving in Abades

Description

At the indicated time we'll meet at Avenida Cantera del Sol, in the centre of Abades, a town ideal for scuba diving in Tenerife due to its crystal clear waters.

After putting on a wetsuit, a mask and fins, we'll walk to a nearby beach to start. We will review the safety rules and explain some basic theoretical aspects of diving before entering the water.

We'll do a splash dive for about 45 minutes, reaching a depth of approximately 10 metres (32 feet). During this time, we'll use oxygen cylinders while experiencing the sensation of weightlessness that comes with diving.

While swimming, we'll see various species of fish of different colours and, with some luck, even sea turtles.

After 2.5 hours, we'll conclude the activity at the starting point.
