Our adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Búzios at the designated time, setting off on a day trip to Rio de Janeiro. Are you excited to explore one of Brazil's most iconic cities? Let’s get started!

Upon our arrival in Rio, our first destination will be the Maracanã Stadium, which opened its doors in 1950. This impressive venue boasts a seating capacity of over 78,000, making it the largest football stadium in Brazil. We’ll share fascinating stories about its storied past.

Next, we will visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, where its remarkable architecture will leave you in awe. This cathedral features a distinctive conical design, measuring 106 meters (347 feet) in diameter and soaring to a height of 75 meters (246 feet), accommodating up to 20,000 attendees. Following this, we will stroll past the renowned Selarón Staircase, crafted by Chilean artist Jorge Selarón in tribute to the Brazilian populace. A perfect chance for a memorable photograph!

Next, we’ll make our way to one of the most recognized symbols of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil: the Christ the Redeemer statue, perched atop Corcovado Mountain at an elevation of 709 meters (2,326 feet). Standing at an impressive 38 meters (124 feet), it ranks among the largest statues in the world and has held UNESCO World Heritage status since 2012.

Before we continue our exploration of Rio de Janeiro, we’ll take a break for a tasty buffet lunch. To complete your experience, we will embark on a scenic tour through Rio's South Zone.

At the end of our 13-hour journey, we will transport you back to your hotel in Búzios. Should you prefer to extend your visit in Rio, we can drop you off at Copacabana, Santos Dumont Airport, or the nearest taxi stand.
