Description

At the indicated time we'll pick you up at your hotel in Búzios and start this excursion to Rio de Janeiro. Are you ready to discover one of the most famous cities in Brazil? Let's go!

As soon as we arrive in Rio, our first stop will be at the Maracana Stadium, inaugurated in 1950, which has a capacity for more than 78,000 people, making it the largest football stadium in Brazil. We will share many fun facts about its history.

Next, we will visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, known for its conical shape, with a diameter of 106 metres (347 feet) and a height of 75 metres (246 feet), accommodating up to 20,000 people. We will also pass by the Selarón Staircase, created by Chilean artist Jorge Selarón as a tribute to the Brazilian people, providing a photo opportunity.

Our journey continues to Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain, standing 709 metres (2,326 feet) above sea level and reaching a height of 38 metres (124 feet). This statue is one of the largest in the world and has been a World Heritage Site since 2012.

Before continuing our tour, we will stop at a restaurant for a delicious buffet lunch. We will finish with a scenic tour of Rio's South Zone.

We will return to your hotel in Búzios after 13 hours of activity.
