At the indicated time, pickup will be at your hotel in Búzios to commence the excursion to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival, the first stop will be at Maracana Stadium, inaugurated in 1950, with a capacity for over 78,000 people, making it the largest football stadium in Brazil.
Next, visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, notable for its conical shape, measuring 106 metres (347 feet) in diameter and 75 metres (246 feet) high, accommodating up to 20,000 people. The tour will also lead to the Selarón Staircase, created by Chilean artist Jorge Selarón, offering a photo opportunity.
Then, head to Christ the Redeemer, located on Corcovado Mountain at 709 metres (2,326 feet) above sea level. The statue stands 38 metres (124 feet) high and is recognized as a World Heritage Site since 2012.
Before continuing the tour, enjoy a buffet lunch at a restaurant. The day concludes with a scenic tour of Rio's South Zone, followed by a return to your hotel in Búzios after approximately 13 hours of activities.
