At 11 am, we will meet at Bolivar Square in Armenia and then travel to the outskirts on public transport to visit markets specializing in fruit and vegetables.

During the journey, we will discuss the gastronomy of Colombia and the significance of fresh products in typical dishes. You will learn about traditional fruits like guava, lulo, and passion fruit. We will share insights into Colombian fruit.

At the markets of Armenia, we will explore the properties of tropical fruits. Additionally, we will cover the city’s history, including the 1999 Eje Cafetero earthquake incident.

To conclude, we will taste the most typical tropical fruits of Colombia and finish the tour at 2 pm.
