Discover the authentic Antioquian style of Filandia and Salento, two towns that epitomize the Colombian Coffee region. This journey promises an unforgettable experience amidst the colorful facades and the green backdrop of the Cocora Valley.

Description

We'll pick you up at your accommodation in Armenia to start our tour through the Colombian Coffee Axis. A short drive will take us to our first stop: the exotic Cocora Valley.

We will explore the "secret of the thousand greens" amidst nature's beauty, uncovering the legend of the Cocora princess and strolling among the towering Wax Palms, some reaching 60 meters (196 feet) high.

After lunch, we'll head to Salento to discover the Antioquian architecture. The picturesque scene includes colorful houses and flowerpot-covered balconies. In Calle Real, we'll immerse in the local atmosphere before arriving at the Camino del Quindío, a historic route. Additionally, we will explore Salento from the heights of the Alto de la Cruz viewpoint.

Next, we will visit Filandia, known as the 'Colina Iluminada' or 'Illuminated Hill'. This town features colorful Antioquian-style buildings and tranquil streets. We’ll walk through local stores to the Street of Stopped Time, 'la calle del Tiempo Detenido', where houses retain their original structure.

Home to many coffee growers, Filandia captivates with colorful avenues and friendly locals. At the Central Park, we can engage with the community and enjoy a panoramic view of the Templo María Inmaculada church, adorned in blue and white.

After an 8.5-hour tour, we'll return to your hotel.
