Orchid Farm Excursion

After picking you up at 8 am at your hotel in Armenia, we will head to a location in the department of Caldas, west of Manizales.

Following an hour and a half's drive, we will arrive at this family farm that focuses on the preservation of wildlife. There, we will take a quiet walk through the landscapes of the hacienda and observe its biodiversity, including a bird sanctuary.

Next, we will embark on a guided tour through the orchid and cactus nurseries, where farmworkers will explain the care of these plants. We will learn many details about orchids, which are among the most beautiful flower species globally. This farm is home to nearly 3,000 orchids.

After the tour, you will have free time for lunch, further exploration, and learning about the hacienda’s conservation work. We will return to Armenia and drop you off at your hotel at 5 pm.
