Orchid Farm Excursion

After picking you up at 8 am at your hotel in Armenia, we'll head to a location in the department of Caldas, west of Manizales.

Following an hour and a half's drive, we'll arrive at this family farm focused on the preservation of wildlife. We will walk through the landscapes of the hacienda and observe its biodiversity, including a bird sanctuary.

Next, we'll embark on a guided tour through the orchid and cactus nurseries, where farmworkers will demonstrate their care techniques for these plants. We will learn about orchids, known for their beauty, with this farm housing nearly 3,000 orchids.

After the tour, you will have free time to have lunch, explore the surroundings, and learn about the hacienda's conservation work. We will return to Armenia and drop you off at your hotel at 5 pm.
