Orchid Farm Excursion

After picking you up at 8 am at your hotel in Armenia, we'll head to a location in the department of Caldas, west of Manizales.

Following an hour and a half's drive, we'll arrive at a family farm focused on the preservation of wildlife. Here, we'll walk through the landscapes of the hacienda and observe its biodiversity, including a bird sanctuary.

Next, we'll proceed on a guided tour through the orchid and cactus nurseries, where farmworkers will demonstrate their care for these plants.

During the visit, we'll learn about orchids, a prominent flower species. This farm houses nearly 3,000 orchids.

After the tour, you will have free time for lunch, continued exploration, and to learn about the hacienda's conservation efforts. Finally, we'll return to Armenia and drop you off at your hotel at 5 pm.
