Quimbaya Bamboo Raft Ride
We will pick you up at 9 am at your hotel in Armenia and commence our journey to the municipality of Quimbaya.
Upon arrival, there will be an explanation of the bamboo raft trip along the La Vieja river, with information about its use by pre-Columbian Indians.
The navigation will last about four hours, with the route depending on river currents. Keep an eye out for local wildlife during this time.
Midway, we will stop at a family farm to rest and enjoy a delicious lunch. The meal features sudado montañero, a local dish made with potato, yucca, plantain, beef or chicken, and salad.
We will conclude the activity by returning to Armenia at approximately 2 pm.
