Los Cristianos Kayak & Snorkel Trip

We'll meet at the indicated time at Calle Juan Reveron Sierra, in front of Playa de Los Cristianos. Here, we'll have a brief theoretical class on paddling technique and safety on board the kayak. Afterward, we'll get on the kayaks and start our 2-hour 30-minute aquatic adventure. Oars at the ready!

Paddling through the Atlantic Ocean, we'll follow along the southern coast of Tenerife towards the Guaza cliffs. This is a protected nature reserve. On the kayaks, we'll admire the rocky landscape of the coast of Tenerife while we talk about the important biodiversity of this area.

Then, just like pirates searching for treasure, we'll head to a very special place that is home to an important population of sea turtles. We'll stop there to do some snorkeling and explore the rich marine life hidden under the surface of the water.

After the swim, we'll continue the tour, approaching the amazing cave of Palm-Mar. You'll be fascinated by the size of this marine grotto created by the erosion of the wind and waves.

Back in the kayaks, we'll paddle to the starting point, where we'll say goodbye after 3 hours of adventure.

Animal Sightings

Although the south of Tenerife is one of the best areas on the island for spotting sea turtles, we can't guarantee that we'll see them during the activity, as animals can be unpredictable.

Who Can Take Part in the Activity?

To take part in the activity you must be in good physical condition to be able to row, keep your balance, and maintain the pace of the group. In addition, you must be in good health, without injuries that could be aggravated during the tour, and not suffer from excessive fatigue that could compromise your safety or that of the rest of the participants. Participation is not allowed if you suffer from dizziness, cramps, heat stroke, hypothermia, dehydration, or other medical conditions incompatible with the effort involved in the activity.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

This kayaking and snorkeling experience will take you through some of the most picturesque coastal areas of Tenerife. First, you'll meet at the designated location, where safety and paddling technique will be explained. The adventure lasts approximately 3 hours, with about 2 hours and 30 minutes spent paddling and snorkeling.
